Monday, 3/5/2018 – Only 189 Monday’s to go!  And, Alexis was “sick” from work today.  A bunch of side hustle work got completed, along with some household chores that had been piling up around the house.  The dog was less than pleased, for sure.

Tuesday, 3/6/2018 – Alexis headed back to the pool for some more practice and progress with her confined water dives.  A major struggle was resolved (more about that coming soon!) but still more work to do to be ready for the open water dives at the end of the month.  Back to the pool on Saturday, 3/17 to finish up!

Saturday, 3/10/2018 – We tackled a long list of tasks including vehicle inspection, oil changes, annual vaccines for the dog and house chores.  And, the last load of stuff went to the Co-Op stand today!  Kind of unbelievable, actually, that we’re actually done purging all the sit around decor-type stuff from the house and it only took 8 months!

Tuesday, 3/13/2018 – Nearly halfway through Alexis’ birth month and we still hadn’t had CAKE!  Problem solved!

Saturday, 3/17/2018 – Back to the swimming pool for the fourth and FINAL confined water dive for Alexis.  Since we’ve both completed all five confined water dives, we’re ready to head to Florida at the end of the month for the last part of our scuba certifications: four open water dives.  It’s pretty crazy to think that in less than a month, we’ll be certified open water scuba divers!

Sunday, 3/18/2018 – Since we’ll be on the road for my birthday and Easter, we did a combination birthday-Easter celebration with my mom and stepdad.  We had a great dinner and got to spend a few hours doing some long-overdue catching up.  And, I got a dry bag to use on our upcoming adventures!

Tuesday, 3/20/2018 – Alexis had another “appointment” this morning.  More on that soon, hopefully!  Today was also the first day of Spring, though I’m not sure Mother Nature’s on board just yet.  Bring on the warm weather, chirping birds and SUNSHINE!

Saturday, 3/23/2018 – The start of 11 days off work for an awesome vacation!  We spent the day prepping for our Escape The Winter 2018 trip south and packing the truck.

Sunday, 3/24/2018 – The beginning of our Escape The Winter trip south, with the goal of the trip being completing our four Open Water Certification dives to finish our scuba diving certifications.  We made a concerted effort to document our entire trip, so make sure to check those posts out for the nitty gritty details. Tuesday, 3/27/2018 – Alexis’ 33rd birthday.  Spent hanging out in sunny, warm Florida.  What a great way to spend a birthday!
