Born in 2003, our Hunter 426 was named “Ahbee” and her hailing port was Westerly, RI. We’ve been told Ahbee was built for a couple that were having their land home constructed. Instead of renting, Ahbee owner’s lived on the boat for nearly a year, until their home was move-in ready. Ahbee was outfitted with most every add-on option available from the factory. We’ve been told that Ahbee was meticulously kept and rarely left the dock while under the ownership of her original owners. When the original owner’s land-based home was completed in 2004, Ahbee was put up for sale as her owner’s transitioned into their new home. When purchased by a loving new owner in 2004, Ahbee was reborn as “Fandango,” with a hailing port of Deltaville, VA. Fandango spent the next 15 years being doted upon by her watchful owner, Andy. Andy’s love for Fandango was obvious in his meticulous maintenance and thorough enjoyment of Fandango. In March 2019, we purchased Fandango from Andy and promised to love and enjoy our time with her just as much as Andy did. Shortly after purchasing her, Fandango became known as “Moxie.”
