We’ve put together a pretty rough five year plan, but, it’s a plan and we’ll tweak it as we need to.  Our goal is to transition to a simpler lifestyle by paying off our debt, selling our stuff, quitting our jobs and moving onto a boat!  Eventually, we plan to cruise as much as possible while maximizing our self-sufficiency, but, first things first.

2016: “PLANNING FOR THE PLAN” (2016 Goal Review Here)

  • Make a concerted effort to stop buying unnecessary stuff.  (Success in 2016!)
  • Identify outstanding debt and come up with a plan for eliminating existing debt. (Completed in 2016.)
  • Make a list of must-haves, wants and wishes for prospective future boat. (Completed in 2016.)
